On September 2, the Sumy Volunteer Community team had a large program of festive events on the occasion of the Sumy City Day.
Our stand was in the Central Park near Altanka pavilion. Our program was so much fun, with flash mob performances of Jewish dances, a photography exhibition displaying the activities carried out by the Sumy Welfare and Community Center Hesed-Haim and the Sumy Volunteer Community.
Our aqua makeup artists were very popular with children who waited in queue to have their faces painted.
Some passers-by were mostly interested in the crafts made by our volunteers.
Our photographers were there for those who wanted a photo shoot.
The funds raised in this charitable action will be spent on children with cancer and/or with special needs. People wishing them a soon recovery wrote their wishes on a large poster.
Our thoughts are material, especially, good wishes.
Many thanks to all event participants and to our volunteers who donated their time and energy to make this happen.
