It is assumed to have a rest on Sunday, and women “recreate” themselves in kitchen. But when cooking is accomplished by a good talk with girlfriends and exchanging of culinary recipes, it is a real rest.
Today we are going to cook kugels. Kugel, or simply a baked pudding, is a traditional Jewish dish, which is cooked from anything one has in refrigerator. We prepared three types of kugel: with vegetables, with potato and mushroom, and a sweet one with pumpkin and apples. Cooking together is funny; taking food together is tasty!
As usual we have packed a part of kugels in containers and in the same day delivered them to our elderly wards.
